    Just wondering...
    Pondering the excess
that seems to go along with this time of year....

And really in touch with the blessings that I have had this year.
    Thanking God!
    I am back to work...
The Comfort Zone is doing just fine after my extended time off.
Clients coming back, new people calling....
    Thank God!

I have had help from angels that were disguised as people.
I have grown even closer to my husband,
as I saw him take on more responsibility,
while I was recovering from (shoulder) surgery.

I had 3 weeks with my Mom while she took care of me....
    (She is 85)
AND THEN, a few weeks ago,
She survived a truly terrible fall while walking.
Almost 14 days in the hospital,
    she rallied...
and is home and getting her strength back!
    Thank God...
    Our beautiful Grandchildren are amazing.
The kids, (that aren't kids,) anymore are doing the best job,
    at parenting, marriage, college....work.....
    Wow,
    God is good.

    Is Christ in your Christmas?
    Whew,
    is He ever!!!
    Forever!
    Love you guys
    Lisa

    Lisa,

Thank you for your beautiful words...

Yes!  Christ is in my Christmas.
Even though it's been a hard year,
    Health problems, money problems
    But God is faithful
He provided exactly what we needed

    Good friends, wonderful family
Just enough money to get us through
    Answers from Doctors
    Healthy kids
    Closer marriage

It's often hard to praise Him
    when times are tough,
but He tells us to praise Him
    in good times and bad..

So, no matter what is happening
    I will still praise Him
    because He is in Control

    Merry Christmas!

    Rebecca

A couple of weeks ago at Church a lady passed out little strings of beads that you could carry in the palm of your hand or in your pocket. The idea of the beads are to thank God for something each time you touch a bead, such as "Thank you Lord, the sun is shining this morning and I can walk my dogs" or "thank you Lord, no bad news in the paper this morning". I thought it was a great idea to put us in touch with God on an everyday basis.
If you want to thank God for letting you find the purple rainboots your daughter wants for Christmas, that will bring Christ back into Christmas.
My family isn't religious, but they enjoy Christmas. My husband never fails to point out that Jesus wasn't really born in December. Christmas was moved to December to gather in the Roman heathens who celebrate the winter solstice.Christians "moved" Christmas to December 25 thus increasing the ranks of Christianity by inviting the heathens to their party, in a way.

Absolutely!! Thank you for sharing your faith and reminding others just how blessed we really are even in hard times. Not only is Christ in our Christmas but in our daily lives...without him we would have nothing!

Just noticed that this thread was still here and wanted to bump it up for the sake of re-inspiring people! I have been reading Colossians 3. If we could only hold on to that and live that every day....?
I know I hold on to it, but do I really live it....? Hmmm. I hope that I do. That is how to reflect Jesus........Hmmm. What is your reflection showing??
