  Free Community eWaste Day

  Saturday, January 28, 9am-3pm

  Got new electronics for the holidays and need to get rid of the old?  Bring them to the eWaste Day to dispose of them and support the band.  We will also be offering shredding services for a $5.00 donation per bankers-size box and household battery drop off available for a $1.00 donation.  Event to take place in the Laguna Creek High School parking lot at 9050 Vicino Drive, Elk Grove.

  Many thanks for the heads up about the upcoming ewaste event. I need to get rid of 1 tv, 2 old computers (hard drives removed of course), and a computer monitor as well as some sundry odds and ends. Looking forward to it.

  Is there a trick to removing hard drives? I have two or three old computers but I don't want to turn them in as they are.

  Not really MsHat, Make sure the power is off from the computer~unplug the data cable and power cable and unscrew the hard drive from the bracket...
